Resumption of Production at West Firsby

The Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc are pleased to announce that production has re-started at its West Firsby Field following the fire on the 22nd June, which shut down production from both wells. Production re-started yesterday at the WF-7 well, utilising existing pump capacity at the site.

Paul Barrett, Managing Director of Europa, said, "This is excellent news and is testament to the skills of our East Midlands team in re-engineering the site and bringing production back on quickly at a time of relatively strong oil price. We look forward to a complete recovery of production in due course."
