Investec Structured Products Calculus VCT plc (the "Company")

Announcement of result of General Meeting

The Board of the Company confirms that all resolutions proposed at the General Meeting of the Company held today, 6 September 2010, were duly passed on a show of hands, as follows:

Resolution 1 (special resolution) - to approve the allotment of ordinary shares and the disapplication of pre-emption rights in relation to such allotments, and to authorise the Company to make market purchases of ordinary shares.

Resolution 2 (special resolution) - to approve the amendment of the Company's Articles of Association, to approve the creation and allotment of C shares and the disapplication of pre-emption rights in relation to such allotments, and to authorise the Company to make market purchases of C shares.

Resolution 3 (special resolution) - to authorise the cancellation of share premium.

Resolution 4 (ordinary resolution) - to approve the amendment to the investment objective and policy of the Company.

Resolution 5 (ordinary resolution) - to approve the Related Party Transactions with Investec Structured Products and Calculus Capital Limited.

Details of proxy votes lodged before the meeting will be available shortly on the website of Calculus Capital, www.calculuscapital.co.uk.

A copy of the resolutions will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.
