Immunodiagnostic Systems Hldgs PLC14 April 2005 14 April 2005 Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC ("IDS" or the "Company") Research Agreement IDS, a leading producer of diagnostic testing kits, announces it has enteredinto an agreement with the laboratory of Dr Phillip Lee, MD, an eminent Pediatric Endocrinologist and a noted researcher in growth factor measurement. Dr Lee is at the University of California in Los Angeles and has been actively researching in this field for more than 20 years with over 150 publications to his record.IDS has committed $100,000 in the form of a grant to the laboratory of Dr Lee. Managing Director Dr Roger Duggan stated: "Taken together with the joint-venture with GroPep (Adelaide, Australia) enteredinto earlier this underlines the commitment of IDS to discover new diseasemarkers of both research and clinical utility. We will accelerate our rate ofimmunoassay kit development in the field of insulin-like growth factors andrelated biomarkers, which are being increasingly employed in studies todetermine pre-disposition to certain diseases, most notably breast and prostatecancer. This announcement comes as we complete a successful first 3 months on AIM withearnings for the full year to 31 March 2005 in line with management'sexpectations.
