Renishaw PLC19 January 2007 Renishaw plc Notice regarding the Company's defined benefit pension scheme The Board of Renishaw plc announces today that the Company and Trustees havereached agreement concerning the Company pension scheme. As a result of the agreement, the Company and Trustees are now in consultationwith the members, with a view to ceasing future accrual in the Company's definedbenefit scheme to current members and future employees. A new defined contribution scheme within the existing trust will be establishedto take effect from 6th April 2007.
