Paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules

Fortune Oil PLC ("Fortune Oil" or the "Company") announces the following in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Mr Frank Attwood, whose appointment as a Non-executive Director of Fortune Oil has been proposed and is the subject of a resolution at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held on 24 June 2009.

Mr Attwood is currently a director of the following companies:
