Tecteon PLC21 February 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 21 February 2006 TECTEON PLC Signs Licensing Agreement for Consumer Bluetooth Product with QSTIK Tecteon PLC ("Tecteon" or "the Company"), a leading provider of voice quality,comfort listening and hearing protection technologies and solutions, announcesthat it has signed its first licensing agreement with QSTIK PLC ("QSTIK") in theconsumer electronic Bluetooth market. Under the terms of the agreement, in whichthere is an initial 12-month period of mutual exclusivity, QSTIK will takedelivery of a minimum of 100,000 units, although both companies ultimatelyanticipate significantly higher sales volumes. QSTIK launched its first product this month, a premium mobile Bluetooth headset,which features Tecteon's bi-directional noise cancellation software that isspecifically designed for harsh noise environments and significantly enhancesaudio quality. Qstik developed the application hardware with the low powerconsumption necessary for Bluetooth devices, where battery life is of utmostimportance. In addition, it significantly reduces ambient noise for bothincoming and outgoing calls, substantially improving the user experience. In acknowledgement of its innovative product offerings, QSTIK recently was shortlisted amongst the top three companies (out of a total of 151 nominees) for theMobile Innovation Award at the GSM Association's 3GSM World Congress inBarcelona, a leading mobile communications conference and exhibition.
