Felix Group PLC14 September 2005 Felix Group plc Felix to develop a new multifunction ATM 14 September 2005 Felix Group plc ("Felix"), the company behind Everyone's A Winner ("EAW"), therevolutionary new sales promotion mechanic, today announces plans to develop anew prototype cash dispensing machine with EAW as an integral feature. To assist in achieving this, Felix has today entered into a non-bindingMemorandum of Understanding ("MoU") with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bankplc ("ALCB"), under which ALCB will provide the associated banking services.The first step is for Felix, with input from ALCB, to design, build and test toproof of concept the prototype machine ("EAW-ATM"). On successful conclusion of the proof of concept test, Felix intends to becomean Independent ATM Deployer (IAD) with ALCB providing all the banking services,including cash provision and reconciliation services to support the three yearprogramme with an initial roll-out target of 10,000 machines. Followingsuccessful proof of concept, Felix intends rolling out machines in time forChristmas 2005. Felix will develop the new live broadband EAW-ATM machines and supply all theprizes and data management system for the EAW proposition element. Each cashwithdrawal will result in customers receiving a prize, such as a retail voucher,to a value of least £3. Commenting on the MoU, Executive Vice Chairman of Felix, Andy Egan, said: "Today's announcement follows on from discussions we have held with ALCB over thepast few weeks.
