Core Business PLC (The)15 June 2006 PRESS RELEASEFor immediate release: 15 June, 2006 Trading Update The Core Business ('the Company'), the innovative beauty brand buildingbusiness, has won five new consultancy projects, including a contract with amajor blue chip retailer, and launched a new sun care brand since its shareswere admitted for trading on AIM in March 2006. The Company is making rapid progress to implement its strategy to capitalise onbrand building opportunities in the personal care and beauty sectors with atotal of 29 new business presentations made since January 2006, compared to 12presentations over the whole of 2005. Of the presentations this year, five havegenerated new consultancy projects with a further 18 having createdopportunities which are at various stages of discussion. The new sun care brand, Blockhead, in which the Company has an interest throughits 12.5% shareholding in Blockhead Brands Limited, and which launched just thisyear, has become the best selling sun care brand on the retail websitewww.mankind.co.uk. The brand is also now on sale through BAA outlets at bothHeathrow and Gatwick airports. With the growth in the Company's activities, The Core Business has needed toexpand the team with the appointment of a Marketing Assistant.
