PROGRESS UPDATE

AuM is pleased to announce that it continues to make good progress with its South-East Asia exploration programme.

We have accessed Newmont's extensive South-East Asia exploration database and integrated this with other regional exploration sources of information. Our team members have undertaken a technical review of the data, and we have completed an initial visit to the region. We are very pleased to report that a number of promising areas have been identified.

We are now making more detailed target assessments in Myanmar, Cambodia and Lao PDR with the objective of, in due course, making field inspections, and licence applications.

We had initially committed to spend up to USD450,000 and we are well within this amount.

Tony Shearer, Chairman of AuM, said:

"The new South-East Asian exploration programme is very encouraging. We are very excited about the mineral prospectivity, and we intend to maintain our patient, methodical approach as we seek to establish the Company in the region.

We expect to provide updates as this work progresses, and in any event when we announce our half year results later this year."
