Preferred Bidder for Four Year £22m Sellafield Framework Contract

Redhall Group plc, the specialist engineering support services group, is pleased to announce that its specialist nuclear equipment manufacturing division, Jordan Manufacturing, has been awarded preferred bidder status for a four year contract to manufacture and supply specialist plant and equipment for Sellafield's Thorp reprocessing facility. This contract has an initial estimated total value of £22 million. The Group will be engineering specialist containers, skips and associated pond furniture for the wet storage and containment of nuclear fuel assemblies at Sellafield, West Cumbria.

Commenting on the contract win David Jackson, Chairman and Chief Executive said:

"This contract will be one of the largest of its type let by Sellafield and is further recognition of the increasing capability and quality of the Group's offering.  The contract will provide a strong backbone of work for our nuclear manufacturing operations for a number of years."
