Boot(Henry) PLC01 June 2006 Henry Boot PLC: Sale of Shares by Pension Scheme The Trustees of The Henry Boot Staff Pension & Life Assurance Scheme ('theScheme') have advised Henry Boot PLC ('the Company') that they have today sold100,000 Ordinary 10 pence Shares in the Company at a price of 790 pence pershare. This reduces the Scheme's holding of shares in the Company (registered inthe name of 'Moore Street Securities Limited a/c P') from 750,000 to 650,000.The Trustees have stated that they been obliged to take this action in view ofthe out-performance of the Company's shares compared with the Scheme's assetswhich has resulted in the value of the holding exceeding the statutory 5% limitrelating to Employer Related Investments.
