Planning Permission for Gravel Pits-1, Liliechi-1 update

The Directors of Europa Oil & Gas (Holdings) plc (`Europa') are pleased to announce that Lincolnshire County Council has granted planning permission to drill the Gravel Pits-1 exploration well, on the PEDL150 (SW Lincoln) licence. Europa intends to commence site preparations as soon as possible. Timing of drilling, however, is subject to rig availability in the current tight UK onshore rig market. A further announcement will be made when a rig contract is in place and an anticipated spud date is known.

Aurelian Oil & Gas plc has informed partners that it anticipates the Liliechi-1 exploration well will spud during the week commencing the 18th August.
