Humberts Group PLC24 April 2008 Humberts Group plc ("Humberts" or "the Company") Offer Talks Terminated On 30 January 2008, Humberts announced that it had received a preliminaryapproach regarding a possible offer for the Company. On 18 March 2008, the Boardof Humberts confirmed that it had subsequently received a number of indicativeoffers for the whole as well as offers for certain parts of Humberts. Following further discussions with interested parties, the Board confirms thatit has not been possible to reach agreement on terms of a formal offer. As a consequence, the Board of Humberts announces that all discussions have nowceased and that the Company is no longer in an Offer Period for the purposes ofthe City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
