Gartmore Investment Limited notified AssetCo plc (the 'Company') on 24th August 2009 that on 18th August 2009 it has a total interest in 5,179,166 ordinary shares of 25p in the Company, representing approximately 5.709% of the issued share capital.

Prior to this transaction, Gartmore Investment Limited had a total interest in 4,489,166 ordinary shares of 25p in the Company, representing approximately 4.949% of the issued share capital.'
