Forum Energy Plc10 August 2006 10 August 2006 Forum Energy Plc ('the Company') Notifiable Interest The Company announces that it received notification on 9 August 2006 that on 28July 2006 Legal & General Group plc and / or its subsidiaries ('L&G') no longerhave a notifiable interest in the ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company. On 22 December 2005 the Company announced that L&G had an interest in 899,731ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company, representing 3.31% of the issuedshare capital of the Company. This represented the entire holding of L&G in theshare capital of the Company.
