TRADING UPDATE

Electrocomponents plc will be releasing a Trading Update on Friday 3 April 2009 for the year ending 31 March 2009.

A conference call for investors and analysts will be held at 8:00am, UK time, on Friday 3 April 2009. The call will be recorded and available for playback.
