2009 Second Quarter Earnings Conference Call

Uruguay Mineral Exploration Inc ("UME" or "the Company"), a gold production and exploration company, announced today that it will hold its fiscal 2009 second quarter earnings conference call on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 8:00 Toronto time, 13:00 UK time.
The earnings release for the second quarter ending November 30, 2008 will be issued on January 14, 2009 at 7:00 am UK time.
The conference call can be accessed by dialing +1 866 966 5335 (Canada and US) or +44 (0)20 3003 2666 (UK and International). All participants will be required to register with the operator.
