New Aerospace and Defence Contract Win

 Major Aerospace and Defence Contractor Licenses Intercede's MyID

Highlights:

London, United Kingdom (PRWEB) 1 February 2010 - Intercede today announces that it has entered into a contract with Gemalto to supply MyID® to a major Aerospace and Defence Contractor. This award follows a competitive procurement process during which integration between MyID and SUN Identity Manager was demonstrated.

Richard Parris, Intercede's Chairman and Chief Executive, said, "Following Intercede's previously announced contract awards, this new customer win means Intercede is supplying identity systems to three of the major global aerospace and defence contractors. Furthermore, two of these customers have licensed MyID to support internal identity assurance programs on an enterprise-wide basis. This demonstrates that companies with some of the highest levels of internal security, trust MyID for assuring the identities of employees who can access sensitive facilities and systems."

This new win is a long term project that will not make a material contribution to current year financial performance. However, it is a strategic new customer that represents significant future value.
