Thomas Cook Group PLC18 March 2008 18 March 2008 Thomas Cook Group plc Thomas Cook Group plc announces that in connection with the merger of CondorFlugdienst GmbH and Air Berlin PLC, the German Bundeskartellamt (Federal CartelOffice), with the approval of Thomas Cook and Air Berlin, has further extendedthe deadline for completion of its primary evaluation process by two monthsuntil 9 June 2008. This extension has been made in order to allow Thomas Cookand Air Berlin to continue their discussions with the Bundeskartellamt case teamwith a view to agreeing appropriate undertakings from the parties in order toobtain the consent required for the merger to proceed.
