Loan repayment update

SNR, the AIM listed natural resources developer operating in South Africa, today announces an extension to the repayment period for the short term bridging loan provided by Land Consultants Limited ("LCL") to the Company (the "LCL Facility").

The LCL Facility

LCL has agreed to the extension of the LCL Facility, which was to expire on 30 September 2013, to 31 December 2013 so as to allow the Board to continue its negotiations to secure strategic investment in the business. In return for agreeing to this extension, the Company has agreed to reduce the price at which the LCL Facility converts in to new ordinary shares in SNR, at LCL's election, from 25p to 20p and extend the period in which LCL can convert for an additional 12 months to 31 October 2014.

The original principal amount drawn down under the LCL Facility, plus interest accrued to date, and the original facility fee have been aggregated and the total outstanding balance of £6,925,117 will accrue interest on the same terms as previously announced. All other terms of the LCL facility remain unchanged.

The Board remains in discussions about a strategic investment with several interested parties and will update shareholders at the appropriate time.
