Chairman's appointment as non-executive Deputy Chairman of Bovis Homes Group Plc

With respect to Listing Rule 9.6.14 the Company announces that Alastair Lyons, the Company's non-executive Chairman, was appointed independent non-executive Deputy Chairman of Bovis Homes Group Plc with effect from 1 October 2008. In this newly created position, Alastair will also undertake the role of Senior Independent Director.
