Launch of Beijing operation

Multimedia production company Ten Alps ("Ten Alps") (AIM: TAL) has expanded into China with a new office in Beijing.

The new office will from today provide local-market editorial services, plus advertising sales representation for Ten Alps titles in China.

Ten Alps Communications Advertising (Beijing) Limited is the China base for Ten Alps Communications Asia Limited, the majority-owned Singapore-based publishing and advertising sales business launched by Ten Alps earlier this year. Ten Alps also has TV production operations in Singapore with a growing slate of programming for Asian markets.

Adrian Dunleavy, CEO of Ten Alps Communications division said: "Having representation in the Chinese market is an important step in expanding our portfolio in a fast-growth market; we see a number of exciting opportunities to develop our business from the new Beijing base."
