Robert Walters, the leading international recruitment consultancy, provides the following update on its operations in Japan, which account for a substantial proportion of its Asia Pacific business.

As a result of last week's earthquake, current work in progress in Japan has been severely affected. Moreover, there is likely to be ongoing impact on work until basic infrastructure is restored.

Robert Walters can further confirm that all of its staff in Japan have been safely accounted for and that there have been no casualties or injuries.

A further update will be provided when the Company announces its Interim Management Statement on 6 April 2011.
