Regency Mines, the mining exploration and mineral investment company with interests in nickel and other minerals in Western Australia, Queensland, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan, announces that YA Global Master SPV Limited ('YA Global'), which is advised by Yorkville Advisors LLC, has today subscribed for 6,436,066 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') in the Company under the terms of the Standby Equity Distribution Agreement between Regency and YA Global announced on 10 September 2009, at a price of 3.88436 pence per Share (the "Subscription"). The proceeds of the Subscription are £250,000 before expenses, conditional on the Ordinary Shares being admitted to trading on AIM.

Following the Subscription, the Company's issued ordinary share capital will be 590,440,755 ordinary shares of 0.1p. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the Ordinary Shares, which rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. on 18 March 2011.
