Croma Group PLC31 January 2006 31 JANUARY 2006 CROMA GROUP PLC ("CROMA" OR "THE COMPANY") ISSUE OF EQUITY Croma, the specialists in the design, development and production of overt andcovert surveillance, security and defence related products, is pleased toannounce that it has successfully raised £325,000 (before expenses) by way of aplacing of 6,500,000 new ordinary shares of 5p each ("Placing Shares") at 5p pershare with existing institutional shareholders. As previously announced, theCompany is in late stage negotiations with two potential acquisitions, one ofwhich is in the asset security field and the other in biometrics, and the netfunds raised today will provide the Company with greater flexibility to financeone or both of these acquisitions. Application has been made for the admission of 6,500,000 Placing Shares totrading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange on 2 February 2006.
