Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT" or the "Company") Issue of Equity

The Directors of SRT announce that they have issued and allotted 168,835 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company as a result of the receipt of notices of conversion of warrants in the Company.

Following the issue of the new shares, there are 78,255,917 ordinary shares of 0.1p of SRT in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote. There are 11,354,015 warrants to subscribe for ordinary shares in issue.

Application will be made for the new shares to be admitted to AIM. It is expected that admission will occur on 10 January 2007.
