Close Technology & General VCT PLC31 March 2006 Close Technology & General VCT PLC New C Share issue allots 20,626,697 New C Shares in respect of the Offer for Subscription and announces that the Offer is now closed The Board of Close Technology & General VCT is pleased to announce that20,626,697 New "C" Shares have been allotted under the Offer for Subscriptionpursuant to the prospectus dated 7 November 2005 taking the total fundraising to£35,000,000. The Offer is now closed for subscription. Dealings in the New C Shares allotted in respect of the Offer will commence on 3April 2006.
