Ventus VCT plc and Ventus 2 VCT plc
Joint Offer for Subscription of up to 20,000,000 "C" shares of 25 pence each at a Price of 100 pence per Share (the "Offer")
First Allotment of "C" shares in Ventus 2 VCT plc for 2009-10 Tax Year
The Board of Directors of Ventus 2 VCT plc is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the terms of the Joint Offer for Subscription dated 12 February 2009, 843,482 "C" shares of 25 pence in Ventus 2 VCT plc were allotted on 18 May 2009.
Application has been made for the admission of the 843,482 "C" shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange plc's market for listed securities. Dealing in the "C" shares is expected to commence on or before 26 May 2009.
The number of shares allotted to date under the Offer by Ventus 2 VCT plc now totals 6,298,910 "C" shares. Following this allotment there are now 6,298,910 "C" shares of 25 pence each and 11,173,337 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in issue.
The Offer in respect of the 2009-10 tax year will remain open until 30 June 2009.
