Chrysalis VCT PLC05 April 2006 Chrysalis VCT plc6 April 2006 Issue of Equity Pursuant to the Offer that opened on 2 February 2006 ("the Offer"), theDirectors of Chrysalis VCT plc announce the following allotments that took placeon 5 April 2006: 137,190 D ordinary shares of 1p each ("D Shares") payable at 100p per share. 125,439 E ordinary shares of 1p each ("E Shares") payable at 100p per share. Following these allotments the Company now has 536,072 D Shares and 601,376 EShares in issue. Included in the above were allotments to the following: Mr Robert Drummond (and connected parties), were allotted 20,600 E Shares at a price of £1 per share. Following this allotment he (along with connected parties) now holds shares which represent 0.3% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Application will be made shortly for these shares, which will rank pari passuwith existing Ordinary Shares, D Shares and E Shares, to be admitted to theOfficial List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London StockExchange's market for listed securities.
