Omega Insurance Holdings Limited ('Omega' or the 'Company')Exercise of Options

 The Company announces today that 175,000 options over common shares of US$0.10 each in the capital of the Company have been exercised under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission of 175,000 common shares to trading on AIM. The shares will rank pari passu with existing common shares and it is expected that admission will occur at 8.00am on 14 January 2009.

Following the issue of the new shares, the total issued share capital of the Company will be 147,837,417 common shares.
