Issue of equity

Further to the announcement made on 9 July 2008, Porvair announces that 1,375,224 new ordinary shares of 2p each (the "New Ordinary Shares") have been issued in consideration for the Group's recent acquisition of Seal Analytical Ltd. Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. 

Following the admission to trading of the New Ordinary Shares, Porvair will have 42,073,640 ordinary shares of 2p each in issue.
