Roc Oil Company Limited04 April 2006 4 April 2006 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE LATEST INVESTOR PRESENTATION APRIL 2006 Please note the following updates in the latest Investor Presentation: • Up to eight, compared with the previously reported 11 exploration wells are now expected to be drilled offshore Mauritania. This is partly due to a two month delay with the start of the 2006 drilling programme, which will now commence in July. • Jacala-1, offshore Western Australia, re-commenced drilling on 3 April 2006 after operations were interrupted by cyclone activity and operational issues with the conductor. Drilling is expected to be completed during late April 2006. • The drilling of the Aleta prospect, offshore Equatorial Guinea, continues to be subject to securing a suitable rig contract and has shifted to December 2006 with the possibility that it could be delayed further to 2007. • The drilling programme in Angola is now expected to start in October 2006. This programme was previously reported as a stretch target for a mid September 2006 commencement.
