Interim Management Statement

Cathay International Holdings Limited ("CIHL" or the "Company") is issuing the following Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 July 2008 to 19 November 2008, in accordance with the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. 

On 12 September 2008, the Company announced an update on investment in Xian Haotian Group. Since then, Xian Haotian Group has been preparing for the initial implementation of raw material sourcing strategy of the inositol project.

Apart from the above, there have been no material events or transactions affecting the Group in the period.

There has been no significant change in the financial position of the Group since that reported as at 30 June 2008.
