Avingtrans PLC15 September 2005 Holding in Company Avingtrans plc ("Avingtrans" or the "Company") has been informed that as of 9September 2005, Mr G Thomas no longer has a notifiable interest in the sharecapital of the Company. Avingtrans has also been informed that as of 9 September 2005, F&C AssetManagement plc is interested in 671,133 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in theCompany ("Ordinary Shares"), representing 4.7% of the issued share capital ofthe Company. Such interest includes the material interest of F&C Private EquityTrust C Pool of 588,800 Ordinary Shares, representing 4.1% of the issued sharecapital of the Company.
