BPC, the oil and gas exploration company with licences in The Bahamas, announces that it has today received notification from RAB Capital plc, acting as discretionary manager of RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Limited ('RAB'), that, on 25 September 2009, RAB disposed of 28,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.002 pence each in the capital of BPC ('Ordinary Shares'), representing approximately 3.55 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital (the "Issued Ordinary Share Capital").

Following the disposal, RAB is now interested in 128,461,650 Ordinary Shares, representing 16.27 per cent. of the Company's entire Issued Ordinary Share Capital and 14.95 per cent. of the enlarged Issued Ordinary Share Capital following the admission to trading on AIM of 69,842,860 new ordinary shares, expected to take place on 16 March 2010, as per the Company's announcement of 11 March 2010.
