('SRE' or the 'Company')

The Company has been informed that on 13 March 2009 Athol Trust and Springbok Trust each acquired  413,550 SRE shares at an average price of 14.0c per share. 

Frank Oppenheim and Kevin Oppenheim, both of whom are directors of the Company's asset manager, Principle Capital Sirius Real Estate Asset Management Limited, are the beneficiaries of, respectively, Athol Trust and Springbok Trust. 

In addition, Frank and Kevin Oppenheim each indirectly hold 25% of the share capital of Staracre Limited, which owns 15,000,000 ordinary shares of the Company.

Following the above acquisitions, Frank Oppenheim indirectly holds 9,018,699 ordinary shares of the Company representing 2.98% of the ordinary shares in issue. Kevin Oppenheim indirectly holds 9,018,702 ordinary shares of the Company representing 2.98% of the ordinary shares in issue.
