Wynnstay Group plc (the "Company") announces that, on 2 September 2008, it received notification that, following the placing announced by the Company on 8 August 2008, BlackRock, Inc. controls the voting rights over 1,428,013 ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company, representing 9.93% of the total voting rights in the issued share capital of the Company. The controlled undertaking through which the voting rights are held is the BlackRock Agriculture Fund.
