CareCapital Plc (AIM: CARE), the healthcare real estate developer and owner, was notified on 13 January 2011 by Mr Trevor Brown that, following purchases of shares on Thursday 13 January 2011, he has a beneficial interest in 21,506,666 ordinary shares in CareCapital, which represents 28.02% of the Company's current issued share capital.

9,340,000 ordinary shares are held directly and 12,166,666 ordinary shares are held indirectly, by Free Association Books Limited of which Mr Trevor Brown is the sole beneficial owner.
