Cineworld Group plc30 May 2007 CINEWORLD GROUP PLC - DTR 5 NOTIFICATION Cineworld Group plc (or the "Company") 30 May 2007 DTR 5 Notification Cineworld Group plc was notified on 2 May 2007 by Blackstone Capital Partners(Cayman) IV L.P., Blackstone Capital Partners (Cayman) IV-A L.P. and BlackstoneFamily Investment Partnership (Cayman) IV-A L.P. (together the "BlackstoneShareholders"), in fulfilment of obligations imposed by the Financial ServicesAuthority in accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5 that, on 2 May2007, following the Company's initial public offering, the BlackstoneShareholders were interested in 66,578,849* ordinary shares of 1 pence each inCineworld Group plc representing 47.0% of the issued ordinary share capital ofthe Company. * Of these shares: (1) Blackstone Capital Partners (Cayman) IV L.P. was interested in49,080,400 ordinary shares, representing 34.6% of the issued ordinary sharecapital of the Company; (2) Blackstone Capital Partners (Cayman) IV-A L.P. was interestedin 1,492,122 ordinary shares, representing 1.1% of the issued ordinary sharecapital of the Company; and (3) Blackstone Family Investment Partnership (Cayman) IV-A L.P. wasinterested in 16,006,327 ordinary shares, representing 11.3% of the issuedordinary share capital of the Company. Due to an oversight, a formal notification pursuant to DTR 5 was not released on2 May 2007. However, the interests of the Blackstone Shareholders in the Companywere disclosed in the announcement of exercise of over-allotment arrangementsmade on 2 May 2007.
