Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or the 'Company') received notification on 15 June 2012 from Capital Research and Management Company of a decrease in its shareholding in the Company. Following a sale of 1,773,300 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the capital of the Company on 14 June 2012, Capital Research and Management Company is now the holder of 3,213,300 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in Origin. This holding represents approximately 2.3% of the 138,018,810 shares currently in issue.
