Churchill China PLC13 April 2005 Churchill China plc ("the Company") Significant shareholding In accordance with sections 198 to 202 of the Companies Act 1985, as amended,the Company was advised on Tuesday 13 April 2005 that Henderson Global Investorshad purchased 50,000 ordinary shares of 10p each representing 0.5 per cent. ofthe issued ordinary share capital of the Company on Monday 12 April 2005.Following this purchase Henderson Global Investors now hold 440,000 ordinaryshares of 10p each, representing approximately 4.1 per cent. of the issuedordinary share capital.
