Henderson Group plc wishes to confirm that shareholders on the register at 5.00pm today, the Record Date, will be entitled to an interim dividend in respect of the six months ended 30 June 2011 of 1.95 pence per ordinary share.

For holders of CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs), the A$ or the NZ$ equivalent will be 2.935433 cents* (Australia) and 3.704123 cents* (New Zealand) per CDI respectively.

The dividend will be paid on 23 September 2011.

The timetable is as follows:

Record Date for dividend Friday 2 Sep

Processing recommences for requests by CDI holders toconvert CDIs into ordinary shares and by ordinaryshareholders to convert ordinary shares into CDIs Monday 5 Sep

Dividend payment date Friday 23 Sep
