Transaction in Own Shares

Hazel Renewable Energy VCT2 plc announces that, on 15 February 2019, the Company purchased the following Shares to be held in treasury:

Following this transaction, the issued share capital and total voting rights of the Company are as follows:

The Board also announces that it has set aside funds to be used for new investments to ensure that the Company can continue to comfortably maintain its VCT qualifying status in the future (taking into account the new VCT regulations which take effect later this year) and to ensure sufficient funds are available for the payment of future dividends.

Therefore, for the time being the Company will not buy back Shares. The Board will keep the situation under review and, as and when liquidity permits, will reconsider buying back Shares. Meanwhile, the Board will endeavour to encourage the development of the secondary market for the Company’s Shares.
