Mwana Africa PLC25 April 2008 Mwana Africa PLC (the "Company") Grant of Options London, 25 April 2008 - The Company announces that today it granted options over3,500,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each to Peter Sydney-Smith at an exerciseprice of 54.5 pence per share. These options are subject to performance related conditions and may not beexercised before 3 years from the date of grant. Provided the performanceconditions have been met or treated as met at that time, then the options may beexercised at anytime thereafter, up to 10 years from the date they were granted.
