15 April 2013 - London, UK - Verona Pharma plc (AIM: VRP.L), announces that theBoard has granted under the Company's unapproved share option plan options over1,000,000 shares in the Company to each of its directors, Clive Page, ClairePoll, Trevor Jones, Stuart Bottomley and Pat Humphrey. The options, which havean exercise price of 4 pence, will vest one third on each of 15 April 2014,2015 and 2016.
