GPE plc appoints non-executive director

Great Portland Estates plc appoints non-executive directorGreat Portland Estates plc (GPE) today announces that Wendy Becker has been appointed as aNon-Executive Director with effect from 1 February 2017 and will become Chairman of the Remuneration Committee with effect from the 2017 Annual General Meeting.Ms Becker, Non-Executive Director at NHS England and Deputy Chair of Cancer Research UK, was previously Non-Executive Director of Whitbread PLC, Chief Executive of Jack Wills Ltd and a partner at McKinsey & Company Inc.

Commenting on the appointment, GPE Chairman Martin Scicluna said "We are delighted to welcome Wendy to GPE's Board with her significant non-executive and commercial experience".

There is no further disclosure required in relation to Wendy Becker pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
