Latham(James) PLC06 April 2005 James Latham plc Clapton Site Sale The Directors are pleased to announce that, as part of the agreement withCountryside Properties plc, reported on 10 December 2004, the Company hasreceived an additional £1.5m due to a further condition of sale being met.Corporation tax of 30%, which may be mitigated by rollover relief, will be dueon the proceeds. The balance will be used to reduce the Company's overdraft and strengthen theCompany's balance sheet to enable it to take advantage of future opportunities.
