Clarification from the Company on Attorney General's Decision

Cairo, Monday 3/18/2013: EFG Hermes Holding S.A.E. would like to clarify that the Attorney General's investigations and decision to freeze the personal assets of the company's Chief Executive Officers and others is related to Al Watany Bank case which is still pending before the courts.

The firm confirms that this decision has not in any way affected and has no impact on the firm, in terms of its funds, assets, operations, interests, liabilities or its commitments to its clients or third parties.
