First Order Red Acquisition

Better Capital PCC Limited is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 100% shareholding in First Order Red Limited ("First Order Red") by Santia Asbestos Management Limited ("Santia Asbestos Management"), a company within the BECAP Fund LP (the "2009 Fund") investment portfolio.

First Order Red is a UKAS accredited environmental consultancy providing asbestos surveys, asbestos analysis, air testing and surveying services. It is headquartered in Blidworth, Nottinghamshire.

Santia Asbestos Management is a subsidiary of the Santia Consulting group of companies. The group provides food safety and health and safety risk management solutions that range from auditing and accreditation through to consultancy and training.

The acquisition of First Order Red will complement the existing asbestos operation and provides a strong platform in a target market sector that will enable future revenue growth.

For the financial year ended 31 July 2012, First Order Red reported revenue of £1.6 million (unaudited). Total consideration payable by Santia is £2.2 million, £2.0 million of which will be funded from a further cash investment by the 2009 Fund in the Santia group of companies.
