Federal Grid Company Announces EGM

Moscow, 14 July 2017 - Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System ("Federal Grid Company"or "the Company") (Moscow Exchange, LSE: FEES), part of PJSC ROSSETI Group of Companies, and the owner and operator of the Unified National Electricity Grid ("UNEG"), announces that its Board of Directors has set the date for the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), which will be held at 11:00 (Moscow time) on 15 September 2017 in Moscow at "R&D Center "FGC UES", JSC, Kashirskoe shosse, 22, building 3, 2nd floor. Registration will open at 09:30 am (Moscow time). 

The record date for shareholders entitled to participate in the EGM is 24 July 2017.

The Board of Directors approved the following agenda for the EGM:

1) Election of members of the Board of Directors of FGC UES, PJSC;

2) Election of members of the Audit Commission of FGC UES, PJSC.

Shareholder(s) holding in the aggregate no less than 2 (two) percent of the Company's voting shares have the right to propose candidates for the Company's Board of Directors and the Company's Audit Commission (their number may not exceed the total number of members of the relevant body). Any such proposals must be delivered to Federal Grid Company no later than 15 August 2017.

Shareholders will have the opportunity to review the EGM materials from 23 August 2017 until 14 September 2017 (except for weekends and public holidays) from 10:00 to 15:00 at the following addresses: - in the office of the executive body of FGC UES, PJSC at:

5A Akademika Chelomeya St., Moscow;

- on the premises of FGC UES, PJSC at:

9 B. Nikolovorobinsky Side St., office 206, Moscow;

- on the premises of the registrar of FGC UES, PJSC at:

32 Novorogozhskaya St., Bld. 1, Moscow, STATUS Registrar Company (Joint-Stock Company).
